‘Pay it Forward’ raises more than $500 at Patient Appreciation Dinner
A great deal of generosity and a little bit of magic marked this year’s Patient Appreciation Dinner hosted by Hosey Foot and
Just over 200 attended this year’s event at the
Almost $500 was collected in 50/50 raffles and donations that went to the Pay It Forward program sponsored by WMUZ 103.5 radio. On hand were radio hosts Chris Stevenson of the Morning Light show and Bob Dutko. The donations will be converted into $25 food gift cards that will be distributed to families throughout the metropolitan area as stories of need are presented. Radio listeners often match if not exceed the original gifts. Hundreds of families have been helped through the Pay It Forward program in the past five years.
Patients also learned that Dr. Hosey is not only a magician when it comes to offering excellent podiatric services. A self taught amateur magician, Dr. Hosey offered up 30 minutes of magical illusions that entertained the audience with Mary Ann at his side. “I have always enjoyed honing my magic for the family so I thought this might be a fun treat for my patients, too,” Dr. Hosey says. “It was just one more way I could thank everyone for their confidence in the Hosey Foot and
